Piden transexuales de Tijuana, asilo en EE.UU.

Miembros de la comunidad transexual de esta ciudad acudieron a la Corte de Migración en San Francisco, para solicitar asilo político, toda vez que su integridad física y moral han sido violadas constantemente por elementos de la Policía Municipal, informó Víctor Clark Alfaro, director del Centro Binacional de Derechos Humanos en Tijuana.
Asimismo, dijo que en los próximos días, más personas cruzarán a Estados Unidos para pedir asilo, "hecho que pone en serio predicamento la política de derechos humanos de nuestro país y cuestiona seriamente la conducta de los oficiales municipales", expresó Clark Alfaro.

Mencionó, que el pasado mes de diciembre otro grupo de personas al igual que los 10 transexuales que viajaron ilegalmente al vecino país, hicieron esta solicitud con la misma intención.

Afirmó que esas solicitudes señalan los abusos sexuales y de autoridad que los municipales cometieron en el pasado en contra de los transexuales, así como extorsión y persecución policíaca que sólo muestran un patrón de violaciones consistentes y ya documentados por el Centro Binacional de Derechos Humanos.

Comentó que le parece un hecho inusual que más de 10 personas estén haciendo este tipo de peticiones y que expresen que su calidad de vida en la ciudad esta muy disminuida, por lo que se debe de atender de inmediato.

"Me parece lamentable y cuestionable" que en un periodo mayor de siete años los autoridades no se hayan resuelto este tipo de problemas, concluyó Clark Alfaro.

Members of the community transsexual of this city went to the Court of Migration in San Francisco, in order to ask for political asylum, every time their physical and moral integrity has been violated constantly by elements of the Municipal Police, Víctor informed Clark Alfaro, director of the Binational Center of Human rights in Tijuana.

Also, it said that in the next days, more people will cross to the United States to request asylum, "done which it puts in serious predicament the policy of human rights of our country and seriously questions the conduct of the municipal officials", Clark Alfaro expressed.

It mentioned, that the past month of December another group of people like the 10 transsexuals who traveled illegally to the neighboring country, they made this request with the same intention.

It affirmed that those requests indicate the sexual abuses and of authority that the policemen committed in the past against the transsexuals, as well as extorsion and police persecution that only show a pattern of consistent violations and already documented by the Binational Center of Human Rights.

It commented that it seems to him an unusual fact that more than 10 people they are making this type of requests and that they express that its quality of life in the city this very diminished, reason why one is due to take care of immediately.

"it seems to Me lamentable and questionable" that in a greater period of seven years the authorities have not been solved east kind of problems, it concluded Clark Alfaro.
